Brandon Whitish
Baritone
Biography
Brandon Whitish, Baritone and Wisconsin native, studied vocal performance at Luther College (2018), and later earned his Master’s degree at the University of Northern Iowa (2022). Whitish is the most recent recipient of the Encore Excellence Graduate Award and was a finalist in the Alltech Vocal Scholarship Competition (2024). In the summer of 2022, Mr. Whitish joined the Sherrill Milnes Voice Studio where he performed the role of Tommy Albright and in Lerner and Loewe’s Brigadoon and was personally coached by world renowned baritone, Sherrill Milnes. Some of Mr. Whitish’s notable opera performance credits include: Count Almaviva in Le nozzle di Figaro, Don Magnifico in La Cenerentola, Leporello in Don Giovanni, Elder McLean in Susannah, Betto in Gianni Schicchi, Moralès in Carmen, The Duke of Plaza-Toro in The Gondoliers, Barron Mirko Zeta in The Merry Widow, and Doctor Grenvil in La Traviata. Whitish currently resides in Lexington, Kentucky where he is a student of Dr. Everett McCorvey, working on his DMA at the University of Kentucky.
